Synapsy Privacy Policy

Synapsy (“the app”) is published by Codesarray. This policy explains what the app does with your information. It is published at https://codesarray.com/synapsy/privacy-policy.html and that page is always the current version.
Data we collect ourselves
None, apart from the optional Google Play Games features described below: Synapsy has no accounts of its own, no analytics of its own, and the game itself sends nothing to Codesarray.
Data stored on your device
The app saves your campaign stars and best scores, your Daily Workout history, your streak and streak freezes, your hint counts, whether Remove Ads has been purchased, and your preferences (theme, card back, sound, vibration, reduce motion) on your device so you can continue where you left off. This data is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its storage.
Advertising
Synapsy shows ads through Google AdMob (Google LLC). Ads are shown as an occasional full-screen ad between campaign levels and as optional rewarded ads you choose to watch (for an extra hint, or to repair a missed streak day). There are no banner ads, and no ad is shown before, during or after the Daily Workout. The app asks Google for ads rated no higher than PG.
To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share with Google and its partners: your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and app information, and ad interaction data. This data is used for advertising and ad measurement, and for personalised ads only where you have consented.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other regions where Google's consent messages apply, you are asked for consent before any ad is requested. You can change your choice at any time from “Privacy options” on the settings screen.
- In US states with privacy laws, you can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information from the same “Privacy options” entry.
- On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads.

Google Play Games
Signing in to Google Play Games is optional; the game works fully without it. If you sign in, Google shows your Play Games profile (player name and avatar) to us and to other players on the leaderboards; we send your Daily Workout score, your longest streak and your total stars to Google so the leaderboards can display them; we unlock achievements on your Play Games profile; and a small save file with your stars, best scores, daily history and streak is stored in your own Google Play Games cloud storage so that your progress follows you to a new device. Codesarray has no server and never receives this file. Google's handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). You can delete your Play Games data for Synapsy from the Play Games app settings.
Purchases
Remove Ads is an optional one-time in-app purchase. Google Play processes the payment; we never see or store your payment details. The app itself stores only whether Remove Ads has been purchased, so it can stop showing full-screen ads and unlock the extras that come with the purchase.
Permissions
The app uses Internet access for ads, purchases and the optional Play Games features only. It does not access your contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, or files.
Health
Synapsy is a game. It is not a medical device, it does not assess, diagnose or treat any condition, and it collects no health information.
Children
Synapsy is not directed at children under 13, and personalised ads are only shown where consent has been given.
Changes to this policy
If a future version changes how the app handles data, this page will be updated and the effective date revised before that version is released.
